Sazagua
The Sazagua hotel restaurant certainly offers the most romantic ambience and polished service in the area, with artfully presented cuisine served beneath star-studded skies on the terrace, or in the art-filled open-air dining room. The fusion menu features international fare along with creative iterations of Colombian staples. The simple grilled fish and meat entrees tend to be more successful than complex dishes with gourmet aspirations. For a light appetizer, the green salad served in a Parmesan crust bursts with flavor, while the ceviche trio is tender and fresh but is much too heavy on the onions for my taste. One of the menu highlights, the fresh fish of the day (the grouper is excellent) is served over sautéed vegetables. Service is warm and attentive, and prices are very reasonable for a relaxing fine-dining experience.
