Organized Tours in Petrified Forest National Park

Organized Tours & Ranger Programs

A changing program of guided hikes and talks runs at locations throughout the park, with the greatest number during the summer. These often include a program that starts in the Rainbow Forest Museum sunroom and is either an easy walk or talk about the Late Triassic Epoch. Another popular program is a ranger-guided walk through Puerco Pueblo, and a third is a ranger-guided tour of the Painted Desert Inn National Historic Landmark.
