The kids can spend the afternoon pushing buttons, turning knobs, and interacting with all kinds of cool science exhibits at this downtown complex. (I say afternoon advisedly; mornings tend to be filled with kids on field trips.) In the end, they might even learn something in spite of all the fun they have. The science center includes a planetarium and a big-screen theater, and generally has a special exhibition or two going on, all of which carry additional charges.
