This aging budget resort isn’t luxurious, but it has just about everything a sun-starved winter visitor could ask for—green lawns, flower gardens, palm trees, and a big pool surrounded by lounge chairs. The location, right off U.S. 60 at the junction with U.S. 101, makes this resort convenient for exploring the Valley; downtown Scottsdale is 10 minutes away. Guest rooms are simply furnished yet quite modern, and although they are more functional than fancy, the grounds more than make up for unremarkable rooms.
