If you can sleep better with a Saks next door, this is for you. This hotel is just west of the ritzy Biltmore Fashion Park; there are some fine restaurants just steps away, and a Hillstone steakhouse in the parking lot. The atrium is filled with interesting tile work, tropical greenery, waterfalls, and ponds filled with koi; here you’ll also find a romantic lounge with huge banquettes shaded by palm trees. All in all, this hotel is a fairly good value, with a catch or two. There’s no resort fee and you get a free full breakfast and afternoon drinks. But you’ll pay for parking and Wi-Fi.
