MercBar
The owner of Manhattan's MercBar, John McDonald, transplanted his popular lounge to the Camelback Esplanade across from the Biltmore Fashion Park. Dark and mysterious, it's a great place for a martini away from the resort crowds. The leather seats and floor-to-ceiling wood make the place feel like a private club. Although it's in a well-heeled neighborhood, there is no dress code. The chef's menu is small but good, and includes soup, salad, ravioli, meatballs, and a cheese board. Food is available until 10pm. Make reservations if you want to snag one of the comfy couch seats.
