The MIM has a jewel of a theater, with maybe 400 seats, and books a colorful array of world, jazz, and rock performers—a show almost every night. Music fans contemplating a Valley visit should check out the schedule in advance. If there’s a performer you’ve always wanted to see, or even someone you’re curious about, by all means buy tickets online and go; you won’t ever experience them in a more intimate setting. The MIM’s just south of the 101 in north Phoenix, 15 or 20 minutes from downtown Phoenix or Scottsdale.
