One of celebrated chef Michael Mina’s steakhouses, this posh place is a top resort eatery and worth visiting even if you’re not staying at the Fairmont. If you’ve never had beef tartare, this is the place to try it, and for a delicious twist on an old favorite, try the lobster pot pie—at a market price that can get close to $100. Everything’s good, like the jidori chicken with roman gnocchi and kohlrabi, and the crab tortelloni. Obviously, however, steaks are the thing here. Keep in mind that the steaks are served a la carte, and there are lots of tempting side dishes and accompaniments.
