An upscale offshoot of the La Grande Orange, Chelsea’s Kitchen serves its upscale Arcadia clientele—friends, couples of all persuasions, families, seniors—with comfort and confidence in a big dining room (with spacious booths) and an expansive patio. This place works hard to make gluten-free variants of its meals, too. The bar’s a great place to hang on a sultry afternoon. The menu is familiar comfort foods, nothing more. Seasonal salads are usually a good choice, as are the fish tacos. Be sure to try the fried chicken and the short ribs. Highly kid-friendly.
