Taco stands are a peso a dozen around the greater Phoenix metro area, but few have the cult following of Guedo’s. The food is simple yet fresh and bursting with flavor. Order two or three tacos (I like the fish and shrimp tacos), and then load them with toppings from the salsa bar. Accompany your meal with a cold beer or a margarita, and you just might forget you’re still in the States. So beloved is this place that a former customer took it over when the original owner decided to bow out. It was moved to a location in nearby Gilbert.
