This is one of Phuket’s more stylish hostels; its colorful walls have hand-drawn illustrations of the houses in the neighborhood while the ceilings feature ancient maps and Chinese art. There is a lot on offer here: bunk-style rooms with six beds in a women-only room, eight beds in a mixed dorm, and private doubles with and without a private bathroom. We’d say go for the latter: even in high season, a private room with a small but bright and clean bathroom only costs 850B, a great deal.
