It has the finest food in Placencia, and arguably, in Belize. Signature main dishes here include the cacao-dusted pork chop served on a risotto cake, and the nut-encrusted fresh catch served with a curried watermelon reduction. The coconut ribs are also excellent. All of this is served in a simple, unpretentious dining room overlooking the ocean, which makes sense. When you are offering food this scintillating, you don’t need fancy décor to make a statement.
