From either of these places, you can arrange for a taxi to drive you to Playa Grande. Playa Grande is about 15 minutes from Tamarindo and 45 minutes from Liberia. A taxi from Tamarindo should cost around $40 to $50, and between $60 and $80 from Liberia.

By Car: The dirt and gravel entrance roads to Playa Grande are located along CR155 between Tamarindo and Huacas.
