This large all-inclusive is a solid bet. I find the rooms and food offerings far better than those at the Occidental Grand Papagayo or Allegro Papagayo resorts. The rooms feature marble floors, contemporary furnishings and minimalist decor, a host of amenities and either a private balcony or private patio. Most are found in a series of single story duplex units spread across a large contoured area with undulating hillsides and tall trees. Papagayo suites are larger, and are located on the highest point of the property, with the best views. While the King junior suites come with private plunge pools. The beach here is very calm and protected, and there are both adult-only and family pool areas. The resort also has a very lovely and well-equipped spa area.
