Although there’s a tiny village of Tambor, through which the main road passes, the hotels themselves are scattered along several kilometers, with Tango Mar definitively outside Tambor proper. You’ll see signs for all these hotels as the road passes through and beyond Playa Tambor. If you need a bank, pharmacy, or post office, you’ll have to head to nearby Cóbano.
