Le Caméléon
Contemporary comforts and style are the lure at Le Caméléon, by which I mean this is the place where you’ll find rooms with air-conditioning, flatscreen TVs, and chic, contemporary design. The latter consists of minimalist, all-white rooms livened up by unusual lighting accents. On-site is a beach club with attentive waiter service, a small pool and Jacuzzi, plus beachfront lounging options, set on the far southern end of Playa Cocles. The entire mini-resort is connected by a network of wooden walkways and surrounded by thick forest. Tip: You may prefer the second floor “superior” rooms over the slightly larger first-floor junior suites. The superior rooms have higher ceilings, larger balconies, and ceiling fans (in addition to air-conditioning).
