This is the only true beachfront hotel in Playa Flamingo. And what it lacks in style and pizzazz, it makes up for in location. You can enjoy sunsets from the second-floor beachfront restaurant and split the day between body-surfing sessions off Playa Flamingo and lounging in the large resort pool. The oceanfront rooms here are the best, though all are large, with tile floors, modern furnishings, and a splash of color provided by locally produced paintings. Some of the suites and family rooms come with kitchenettes, although these are some of the more dated units in the resort. The resort also offers an all-inclusive option, but it’s not your best bet.
