Grand Hotel Palazzo

Dating back to 1910, when it opened as Poreč’s first hotel (originally called the Riviera), this building reopened as the Palazzo in 2009, following a total renovation. Overlooking the Adriatic, on the Old Town peninsula, most of the property’s 70 rooms and all four of its vast suites have sublime sea views. Interiors are light, with earth tone accents and attractive wooden furniture. The majority of en suite bathrooms come with separate showers and tubs. Note that the hotel’s ground floor Café del Mar has a waterside terrace which stays open into the early hours—rooms above it tend to suffer from the late-night noise. The hotel also has a plush spa and a heated outdoor pool.
