The jacuzzi-with-a-view has become a popular spot for wedding proposals.  Opened in 2010, the hotel is built in the style of pastel-painted colonial vila. Owned by one of the old port shipping firms, it is dedicated to wine with the decor of each room inspired by famed vineyards. The spa offers Caudalie wine therapy scrubs and massages. The cellar contains over 1,000 bottles, including vintage ports dating back to the 1850s.
