The Betlem Club offers excellent value given the modest room rates and very good location in the heart of the Old Town. While the hotel calls itself a "boutique," in fact it's a plain old "mom and pop," with ordinary-if-comfortable rooms, with beds and chairs cobbled together from different styles, and plain, plaid prints on the sofas and bedspreads. The setting is across from 16th-century preacher Jan Hus's church and midway between Old Town Square and Charles. Each lies about five minutes away on foot. And you'll likely be on foot because it's madness to try and bring a car if you're staying here, due to the limited parking options.
