"At the Little Bear" is a traditional, old-school pub that's way too popular for its own good. Nevertheless, I include it here since it's one of the few places near the center where you can sample both high-quality original Budweiser from the southern Bohemian city of České Budějovice on tap as well as the pub's own home-brewed lagers, which include "X-33," reputed to be one of the world's strongest beers by alcohol content (around 12%). The traditional Czech food is pretty good too, though I strongly recommend reserving ahead or timing your arrival to avoid mealtimes.
