Visitor Information -- Primosten's tourist office is at Rudina biskupa Josipa Arnerica 2 (tel. 022/571-111: www.summernet.hr/primosten). It's open from 8am to 10pm daily during July and August; from 8am to 9pm during June, September, and October; and from 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday other times of the year. The office (which has the town's only Internet connection) can provide maps and information about Primosten and the surrounding area. For private accommodations, visit tourist agencies like Nik Agency at Raduca 2 (tel. 022/571-200). Nik is open daily from 8am to 10pm and can link you with available rooms and apartments in the area.
Getting There -- Intra-city buses (from Split and Sibenik) serve Primosten. The bus station is just a short walk from the tourist office at the entrance to the Old Town. For schedules and fares, contact the local torist office listed above.
Getting Around -- The beach area is bordered by a long walkway that has restaurants and shops on one side, and tables and chairs on the other. It's not far to the town center, where walking is the most efficient way to get around and the only way to get to the top of the hill to see St. George's (Sv. Juraj) Church. Note: The climb to this church is a steep, terraced one, though it is lined with restaurants and other stopping points.
