This was the first hotel to bring luxury lodging to Provincetown, and it remains one of the top inns in town. The property consists of a number of historic homes, including the 1790s main inn building, that have been converted into hotel rooms. Rooms are spread out in 10 buildings, including three small cottages that have just one unit apiece. Just as the buildings in the compound are of different architectural styles, the rooms are all different, but the common denominator is comfort. From the beds to the seating areas to the amenities, every need has been anticipated. There are two dog-friendly rooms ($40 per day).
