About 3km (almost 2 miles) south of the Puerto Jiménez airstrip, you’ll find this pretty hotel, just across a sandy track from a beautiful beach (Playa Preciosa, also known as Platanares) with some powerful surf. Unless you’re Michael Phelps, you might enjoy swimming in the cool blue pool here more than braving the pounding waves.
