Yoi Ecolodge
Located in the indigenous Ticuna village of San Martín de Amacayacu within Amacayacu National Park, the Ticuna people make up the staff of the Yoi Ecolodge. The simple thatched-roof cabins have private bathrooms and mosquito nets. There’s some electricity to charge batteries, but that’s it. Tours include bird-watching, visits to Lago Tarapoto, piranha fishing, jungle hikes, night walks, and visits to a monkey sanctuary.
