Resting on the sands of Los Muertos Beach, the Vista Grill offers food that's almost as exquisite as its views of the bay at sunset. A canny fusion of Mexican and Continental techniques and ingredients, this is elegant, inventive and artfully fare (which may be why so many locals choose this as a place to propose). Vista Grill has become particularly well-known for its white corn soup with truffle cream and crab beignets and its pork with huitlacoche (corn smut), blue cheese and tequila sauce. If you can't decide what to get, no problem: most of the entrees come in half-portions, allowing patrons to graze at will.
