La Quinta de Sarapiquí Country Inn
This is a cozy, laid-back little lodge on the edge of the Sardinal River. Rooms feature blindingly white tile floors and painted walls, with splashes of color provided by small paintings and brightly colored bedspreads. They’re kept immaculately maintained and have lots of natural light and a cheery feel. The hotel has two swimming pools, as well as a butterfly garden, poison-dart-frog garden, and a riverside trail through a reclaimed forest area.
