Royal Safari Camp
The seasonal Royal Safari Camp is set up yearly during the Pushkar Fair. Surrounded by sand dunes and flowers, the camp-site offers luxury tents with a private bathroom.
Each carpeted tent is furnished with rugs and comes with a fan. An attached private bathroom includes a shower with running hot water and toilet.
The grounds of the Royal Safari Camp are maintained by local villagers, who use them for farming. 11 km away from the camp-site is the Ajmer Railway Station and bus stand. Sanganer Airport in Jaipur is approximately 146 km from Pushkar.
Phones are available at the camp-site reception, where a safe is also stored. Camel carts are provided for guests from the fairground. Special travel arrangements can be made with the reception. The camp-site also offers an express laundry service.
Guests dine in a large tent in the middle of the camp-site. Meals consist mainly of fresh garden vegetable grown on-site. Dinner is served outdoors under the stars around a bonfire. Evening entertainment is provided by a famous Rajasthani troupe.
