This is one of the homier options in Old Québec. Owned by the same people as the adjacent, upscale and more contemporary Hôtel 71 (tel 888/692-1171), which we also recommend, the two properties share Il Matto, a mod Italian restaurant on the first floor. Rooms at Auberge Le St-Pierre have a living room feel, with creamy walls, light brown wood floors, and an occasional exposed stone wall. It’s a good choice for longer stays or families, as units offer room to spread out and some have modest kitchens. Jetted baths and bathrobes are standard. The breakfast here is a plus: always included and cooked to order.
