Located in the medieval Palais des Eveques de Cornouaille (Palace of the Bishops of Cornwall), next to the cathedral, this is a highlight of any visit to Quimper. Renovations over the last decade have revamped its displays of the archaeological and decorative history of the region. It is one of the best ways to learn about the customs and traditions of Brittany, illustrated in items of stained glass, sculpture, furniture, painting, and faience, in addition to four rooms showcasing everyday and ceremonial Breton costumes.
