The gay-friendly bar has a fun, funky vibe throughout. The interior is distinguished by painted glass, bright and bold colors, dim lighting, and a large tree growing through the roof. La Boca del Lobo has been attracting trendy locals and international visitors for as long as I can remember. The place has one of the largest and most eclectic menus in all of La Mariscal—duck nachos, melted Camembert, fried yucca balls—which is saying a lot. The bar also has one of the city's most extensive drink programs, although it's not terribly creative. On weekend nights electronic dance music blasts until late, while the rest of the week the crowd is more laid-back and chatty.
