Retro Bar is Quito's first (and only) '80s-themed dance bar. The red-light New Town nightspot is an ode to all things from that decade. Neon lights and records on the wall scream early '80s, as do music video clips from the era, and a house band playing The Cure and Def Leppard. Retro Bar attracts a mixed-age crowd, mostly locals, and the vibe can be hit or miss. Still, if dancing is what you're after, look no further.
