The largest whale exhibition in Europe, this museum opened on the western harbor in 2014. With cousel from marine biologist Edda Elisabet Magnusdottir, who helped gather information and illustrative material, they have created a warehouse filled with 23 life-size models made of foam and steel and hung from the walls and ceiling. The models include a variety of species such as the beluga whale and the orca, plus beleen varieties like bowhead, humpback, and blue whales, which are all backlit by a chilling blue glow.
