Set in an early-19th-century building on a quiet residential street and one block from the center’s main commercial district, the Óðinsvé is a straightforward, sensible option. The rooms vary considerably in size and shape, with some of the singles being downright claustrophobic. However, most rooms get plenty of light and all feature a clean, minimalist design with light wood floors and Danish bedding. Standard rooms share a common balcony and patio, while the deluxe rooms and suites on the third and fourth floors have private balconies with fine views of Hallgrímskirkja and Mount Esja.
