Trsat

Trsat is an attractive suburb in the hills above Rijeka with terraced gardens, villas, and tree-lined streets that skirt a cute center and a beautiful castle. Trsat is older than Rijeka proper: It was founded by the Illyrians and the Romans. Today it's a frequent tour-bus stop for pilgrims who want to visit the church where Jesus' boyhood home allegedly stood for a few years.
