Planning a trip to Roanne

Trains and some buses serve Roanne from nearby cities, notably Lyon; the train is a lot more convenient. By train, Roanne lies 3 hours from Paris and 1 hour and 10 minutes from Lyon. If you're driving, follow N7 northwest from Lyon to Roanne. From Paris, follow A6 south to Nemours and continue southwest on N7.
