Built in 1893, Streonshalh retains many Victorian features such as original fireplaces. Set at the top of the village with breath-taking sea views, it has exciting breakfasts, and free Wi-Fi. All rooms at Streonshalh Bed & Breakfast have an en suite shower room with free toiletries. They also all have tea/coffee making facilities, wine glasses and corkscrews and some rooms have views towards the sea. A full English breakfast is available, as well as lighter options such as fresh seasonal fruit salad, Whitby smoked kippers, smoked salmon, pancakes and English muffins. Home-baked banana bread or scones can be taken away for a mid-morning snack and all diets are catered for. Whitby and its Rail Station are less than 15 minutes away by car and guests can visit the Bay Museum, which is a 2-minute walk from Streonshalh. There is free parking near the property.
