Visitor Information -- The Tourist Information Office (www.tz-buzet.hr; tel. 052/662-343) in Buzet also serves Roč and Hum. It is at Šetalište Vladimira Gortana 9 in Buzet.

Getting Around -- Small towns in central Istria are best seen on foot, but travel between them requires a vehicle. Buses do serve the area, but not all routes are covered every day; in some cases there is only one bus per day. Even then, you’ll sometimes have to walk a mile or more from the bus stop to the center of town.
