This historic seasonal inn, once a rooming house and later a grand hotel with a “fireproof” garage, maintains the feel of an old-fashioned resort. There’s a heated outdoor pool overlooking the Atlantic, and guests can gather for yard games or chat in a lovely parlor. Rooms were updated in 2015 in a clean, uncluttered style with lots of light colors and an eclectic mix of furnishings. Many rooms have ocean views; the best are had from “Balcony” rooms. A nearby walking trail follows the craggy coastline, and Halibut Point State Park is less than one mile away. Guests who book direct on the Inn’s website receive complimentary breakfast. Note that the Inn is closed from November to April.
