Maybourne Riviera
The newest grand hotel on the French Riviera is a razor-sharp triangle of glass set on an olive-scented mountaintop with epic views. Décor in the suites, many with tiny pools, is inspired by former local residents Le Corbusier and Coco Chanel. All share a photogenic infinity pool that appears suspended above the Monaco coastline. With its Michelin-starred restaurant Ceto (one of six dining establishments), which makes smart use of raw seafood and fresh fruit, there's little incentive to leave this lofty paradise. For an extra 40€ per day, guests can hit the new Maybourne La Plage beach club at the very tip of Cap Martin (150€ for non-guests). The seaside locale has sun loungers and local seafood dishes prepared by Mirazur's Mauro Colagreco, a previous winner of the best restaurant in the world.
