Batana House

Rovinj’s economy was founded on fishing, and the historic fishing boat of choice was the wooden batana. This exhibition uses a contemporary multimedia presentation to illustrate the importance of the batana and local fishing traditions, complete with video, music, and interactive displays. In summer, it is possible to take a nighttime sailing trip around Rovinj peninsula in a batana, which you can arrange through this petite museum.
