Just a short walk (uphill) from Salento’s main plaza, the main draw at this intimate boutique hotel is the terrace, which has outrageous views of the Cocora Valley. Rooms are light, bright, clean, and comfortable, with painted walls and shuttered windows, but they are rather small and too spartan for some tastes. Some rooms look out onto the street, others over the valley; it’s worth splashing out on Junior Suite El Qundío for the jaw-dropping views from the private balcony complete with a hot tub. There are plenty of sociable hangouts, and breakfast is included in the rate.
