Two 19th-century townhouses were joined together to make this select little residence. The lobby and ground floor reception area have a friendly and elegant atmosphere, with bright, classical furnishings. The smallish rooms are appealing: cozy and comfortably furnished. The décor may be a bit outdated, but the hotel is clean and accommodating. The small spa area includes a sauna, steam bath, and massage rooms. This is one of Salzburg's few small hotels with an indoor pool, the walls of which are adorned with mirrors and somewhat unusual murals of Neptune chasing a sea nymph. This is a great choice both for families and couples looking for a romantic getaway that won't break the bank.
