This impressive site is on the other side of the Magdalena, higher up in the hills outside the town of Isnos. From the entrance, where there’s a small museum and a few snacks bars and souvenir stalls, a steep path climbs up to a clearing with several hills set with various statues and tombs, all of which can be seen in about an hour. One impressive anthropomorphic statue measures 4.3 meters (14 ft.), the largest in the area.

The same ticket here gets you into the Parque Arqueológico de San Agustín. Reaching this site is convenient if you have your own transportation and you are on your way to or from Popayán; otherwise, your best option is to join a jeep tour that takes in the park and other attractions. Public transportation is non-existent.
