La Loma is a small inland village that offers the chance to see a slice of San Andrean Raizal culture that is fast disappearing in the more touristy parts of the island. Quiet, sleepy streets, wooden architecture, and Creole-speaking locals give an unadulterated Caribbean flavor to the town, the highlight of which is a quaint, 19th-century Baptist church.
