These discos adhere to Buenos Aires nightlife hours, beginning around midnight or 12:30am, with the evening peaking at about 3 or 4am. Downtown, try Antares, Elflein 47 (tel. 02944/431454). Cervecería Blest, Avenida Bustillo, Km 11.5 (tel. 02944/461026), the oldest microbrewery in Argentina. Next door, Berlina, Avenida Bustillo, Km 11.75 (tel. 02944/523336), is hip and fresh.

The Worest Casino, Av. San Martín 570 (tel. 02944/425846), is open from 9am to 5am. Cine Arrayán is a one-screen local cinema at Moreno 39 (tel. 02944/422860). A more modern cinema is at Shopping Patagonia, Onelli 447 (tel. 02944/427189). Both often show English-language movies with Spanish subtitles.
