The Bourbon Street-like facade with a wraparound, wrought iron balcony is the first indication that this place means to let the good times roll. The atmosphere at this North Park eatery is most always buoyant, but especially for Sunday's Bluegrass Brunch with live music on the cozy, covered patio. Chef Matt Gordon's menu takes a creative approach to American comfort food with dishes like lobster pot pie, and a signature duckaroni, a rich macaroni casserole with generous hunks of duck meat. Kick off any meal with the warm cheese biscuits with orange-honey butter and smoked tomato jam. A full bar, under a rather arresting portrait of Ron Burgundy, offers specialty cocktails, eight local craft beers on tap, plus many more in the bottle, and an extensive, West Coast-leaning wine list.
