Though this small hotel is a little dated (a partial room renovation was under way in late 2017), the Wharf Inn is the rare example of a good deal right in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf. Pier 39, the cable car turnaround, and Boudin Bakery are all just steps away. Guest rooms are clean and basic. The helpful staff, free parking, and free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate all day in the lobby help most guests enjoy their stay, despite the lack of frills.
