Behind a nondescript Gough Street exterior lies this pirate-y tiki bar which also happens to be one of the world’s best bars. The space is transformed into a vintage pirate ship a la Pirates of the Caribbean, complete with a roped-off balcony area that resembles a ship’s crow’s nest. Exotic Caribbean cocktails, Prohibition-era Havana libations, and more than 400 rare rums ensure you’ll taste something you’ve never had before. And with a fair share of flaming cocktails and punch bowls, the cocktails are serious but the atmosphere is not. The space is small, so expect a line on Friday and Saturday nights.
