Michelin-starred chefs Matt McNamara and Teague Moriarty source ingredients straight from their Los Gatos farm and keep their tiny Nob Hill restaurant full with the perfect combination of a cozy atmosphere and beautifully presented food that tastes as good as it looks. Its charm makes it a great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, sit by the fireplace, and enjoy an evening of culinary delights on the seasonal tasting menu. Recent luscious offerings included Rocky Point oysters; artichoke kale and Romesco cauliflower; Dixon lamb shoulder with spring nettles and fava beans; and blood orange and tarragon cheesecake. The staff is exceptionally friendly and approachable and they know the dishes well and are happy to accommodate any food allergies or dislikes. One last note: Don’t even think of trying to park a car on the street around here. If you must drive, the Sutter/Stockton garage a block away is a good bet.
